Kọmply is a compliance and tax platform operated by Redberry Technology Africa Limited, based in Lagos, Nigeria. We provide automated payroll, tax compliance and filing services for Nigerian businesses and individual taxpayers.

We collect information you provide when you create an account or use our services:

• Account information — full name, email address, phone number and state of residence
• Business information — business name, RC number, TIN, address and industry
• Employee information — employee names, salaries, pension IDs, tax IDs and bank details you enter for payroll
• Financial information — salary figures, income details and tax calculation data
• Usage information — how you interact with our platform and features
• Communication data — messages sent to our support team or Amaka AI advisor

3. How We Use Your Information

• Provide, operate and maintain the Kọmply platform
• Calculate PAYE, pension, NHF, NSITF and other Nigerian tax obligations accurately
• Generate payslips, compliance certificates and tax return documents
• Send deadline reminders and compliance notifications
• Process subscription payments through Paystack
• Respond to support requests and provide customer service
• Improve our platform and develop new features
• Comply with our legal obligations under Nigerian law

4. How We Protect Your Data

• 256-bit SSL encryption for all data in transit
• Encrypted storage for sensitive financial and personal data at rest
• Access controls — only authorised personnel can access user data
• Session security — login sessions protected with secure encrypted cookies
• Rate limiting — protection against unauthorised access attempts

5. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell, rent or share your personal or financial data with third parties for marketing purposes. We only share data in limited circumstances:

• Payment processing — Paystack processes subscription payments under their own privacy policy
• Legal compliance — disclosure where required by Nigerian law or valid court order
• Service providers — trusted providers (email, hosting) contractually bound to protect your data

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Payroll records, filing history and tax documents are retained for a minimum of 7 years in accordance with Nigerian tax law. You may request deletion of your account by emailing hello@komply.com.ng.

7. Your Rights Under NDPR

Under the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR), you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data, subject to legal retention requirements
• Receive your data in a portable format
• Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies to maintain your login session and security. We use Google Analytics to understand platform usage. We do not use advertising cookies or sell cookie data to third parties.
